- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion granules
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- 0.25 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1.5 cups chicken broth
Main Ingredients
- 1 lb cheese tortellini
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 0.33 cup Parmesan cheese grated
Preparation Instructions
Spray your slow cooker with olive oil.
Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer on the bottom.
Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning mix, paprika, red chili flakes, and chicken broth. Ensure chicken is submerged in liquid.
Cook on LOW for 4 hours or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Remove the chicken and shred it using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker, add tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on LOW for 30 minutes until tortellini are tender.
Stir in baby spinach and cook for another 10 minutes.
Stir in grated Parmesan, adjust seasoning to taste, and serve.
