Chicken Tikka Flatbreads

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. chicken breast, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 cup Trader Joe’s masala simmer sauce or your favorite masala sauce
  • 2 Naan flatbreads
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1-2 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive or avocado oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or just spray the baking sheet with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • Season your bite size chicken pieces with a little salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium high heat add the oil.
  • Add chicken once heated and cook for 5-6 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Reduce heat to low and add masala simmer sauce.
  • Let simmer 5-7 minutes, stirring around frequently. Add more sauce if you think you need a little more.
  • Assemble flatbreads by evenly distributing the masala chicken on each flat bread.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake 12-14 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the naan’s are crispy enough for you.
  • Top with fresh chopped cilantro and cut into slices.
  • Enjoy!
