- 2 slices whole grain bread toasted
- ½ whole avocado sliced
- 2 leaves lettuce Boston Bibb or butter lettuce work well
- 2 to 3 slices fresh tomato
- Kosher salt
- Mayonnaise
Toast two slices of whole grain bread.
While the bread is toasting, slice your tomato and avocado.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
Add sliced avocado and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Add a layer of lettuce and sliced tomatoes, sprinkle some salt over the tomatoes.
Top with the second slice of toasted bread. Cut the sandwich if desired and enjoy!
