Base Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups mashed ripe bananas about 3 large bananas
  • 0.5 cups creamy almond butter or peanut/sunflower seed butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Optional Additions

  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.67 cups chopped walnuts or pecans

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Mash the bananas in a bowl until mostly creamy.
  • Stir in the almond butter until well-combined.
  • Mix in the rolled oats and chocolate chips until combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and smooth it into an even layer.
  • Bake for 18 to 25 minutes until golden-brown and set.
  • Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
